Answer

Q: What is Cenflex HA+ made from?
A: The HA in Cenflex HA+ is made from a microbial process that ensures quality consistency of the product. Some of the other HA products are made from such things as rooster comb or from non-food grade HA.

Q: Why switch to Cenflex HA+?
A: The other HA only based products are good products that work well in many circumstances. However over time it became apparent that many horses still needed additional supplementation to help with problems. In fact it is mentioned in the literature of these companies that their HA based products work synergistically with other supplementation. To this end we found that we could produce a quality combination product and still remain cost competitive. We were also able to add a pro-biotic to the product to aid digestion which helps the horse better absorb the nutrients available. We have always felt that representing what is best for our customers and their animals is the best way to approach our business, and for these reasons we elected to produce Cenflex HA+

Q: How does Cenflex HA+ compare to Adequan* and Legend*?
A: Cenflex HA+ works along the same lines as Legend by increasing the levels of HA in the body to replenish the joint fluid. But unlike Legend which is given IV or IM, CenFlex HA+ is simply fed to the animal on a daily bases. With Legend you will get a 2 to 3 days peak in effectiveness. With daily supplementation CenFlex+ you avoid the peaks and valleys by raising and maintaining a higher level of HA in the body. Adequan is a Glucosamine product that helps cartilage integrity.

Q: Is Cenflex HA+ like Cosequin?
A: Not exactly. Cosequin is mainly made up of Glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate. Cosequin primarily works on the cartilage while CenFlex HA+ is more beneficial to the joint fluid. With Cenflex HA+ these two products work synergistically to improve the joint integrity.
